Restoring Hope Ministries-Hope House
Inc. Our Statement of Faith We believe that the Bible is God’s infallible,
inspired and inerrant written Word, is profitable for all reproof and
correction and is the supreme and final authority for faith and practice. We believe there is one God, eternally existent
in three persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of
God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, he was crucified, died, was
buried and rose again on the third day; ascended to heaven and is seated at
the right hand of God where he ever makes intercession for us. We believe that each human being was created in the image
of God and, because of the fall has acquired a sinful nature and is in need
of redemption and renewal by the Holy Spirit. We believe salvation is a free
gift from God and that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through
the saving power of Christ’s blood shed on his cross and that it is available
to all who sincerely call upon the name of the Lord, repent and turn away
from their sin, placing their faith and trust in Christ alone to save them. We believe the redemptive work of
Christ on the cross provides healing for the human body both physically and
emotionally in answer to believing prayer. We believe the Holy Spirit
indwells in every believer, sealing and empowering them to live a Holy life
and that He also gives gifts to each of us for the purpose of benefiting the
whole church body. We believe the true Church is not a particular
denomination but is made up of all those who belong to Christ by personally
accepting the salvation He provided on Calvary. We believe
in the "Blessed Hope," the rapture of the Church at Christ’s second
coming, his return to rule and reign, and His final triumphant defeat of evil
casting Satan into the Lake of Fire. We believe in the resurrection of the saved and
the lost to stand before God in a final Judgment, one to receive everlasting
life, the other to everlasting damnation. |
