Area Community Events

We are in the process of planning several Ansonia CT projects.  One being a winter basketball outreach for the youth.  The other is an adult program designed to assist area residents in obtaining a GED, provide tools to prepare and search for employment and to encourage clients to make positive life changes that will help them to be successful.   Please keep us in prayer as we work to secure the details and make these opportunities available.

The HOPE Center is Opening Soon!

We are about to open “The Hope Center” for adults in a low-income housing development in Ansonia, CT.  God has provided us free office space in the place where we have already been ministering for the past year.  The Hope Center will provide a comfortable setting for participants and be a resource center that will include three computer stations, GED and job skill materials, basic computer training, support and encouragement groups for parenting and other family issues, and will also include an information board with resources for addiction and abuse help, etc.

There is also second room for the young children who accompany the adults that will be equipped with toys, books, and DVD’s.   We are so excited about this opportunity to offer hope and show the love of God in practical ways.   Please pray with us as we continue to get everything in place.

We are collecting medical supplies for Love A Child in Haiti to help in the earthquake relief efforts.

“Diaper Drive of Hope!”

Our First New Year Project! - Since Love A Child opened its Malnutrition Clinic they are in desperate need of diapers.  I can't think a better way to kick off the new year than with a "Diaper Drive of Hope"!  Through the month of January we will be collecting donations of disposable diapers, size premie-one year and sending them to Haiti.  These can be new boxes and packages or opened boxes of sizes that your child or grandchild has outgrown.   We only need to get them to Love A Child's Florida warehouse. PLEASE consider joining us in this vital project. If you would like to send a donation to help with our shipping costs that would also be greatly appreciated.   Click here to send a donation

If you, your local church or community group would like to sponsor a "Diaper Drive of Hope" along with RHM, please email me at: info@restoringhopeministries.org for more information on how we can network together to help meet this need.

Remember...Little becomes much when you place it in the Master's Hands!
